Charles Fortier Joins Schulich Executive Education as Adjunct Faculty for Leadership and Emotional Intelligence

At LeedHR, we believe that great leadership starts with self‑awareness and is strengthened through emotional intelligence. That belief sits at the core of our work, and we’re proud to see it reflected in leading executive education environments.

We’re pleased to share that Charles Fortier has joined Schulich Executive Education as Adjunct Faculty for Leadership and Emotional Intelligence.

Charles Fortier, Co-Founder LeedHR

Schulich Executive Education ( Schulich ExecEd) is the executive and professional development arm of the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto. It is one of the most established and reputable executive education providers in Canada, with a strong academic foundation and a very practical, business‑driven orientation. Schulich ExecEd works with senior leaders and executive teams across industries, helping them navigate complexity, lead change, and deliver sustainable results.

Charles’ appointment reflects a strong alignment between Schulich ExecEd’s approach to leadership development and LeedHR’s focus on building leaders who can perform and influence effectively using EQ.

Bringing Real‑World Leadership Experience to Executive Education

Charles brings more than two decades of leadership experience across the human capital, advertising, and software industries, including senior executive roles leading large, complex teams. His work is grounded in both real‑world leadership experience and evidence‑based emotional intelligence frameworks, including his certifications in EQ‑i 2.0, EQ 360, and Master Trainer accreditation.

LeedHR is proud that Charles will be sharing our perspective on the importance of emotional intelligence in leadership with executives participating in Schulich ExecEd programs. His work focuses on helping leaders better understand their impact, strengthen how they show up under pressure, and lead with greater consistency and credibility.

We’re excited about the impact this collaboration will have on executives and organizations across Canada. For LeedHR, it represents another meaningful opportunity to contribute to the evolution of leadership development.

Congratulations to Charles and to Schulich Executive Education on this collaboration. We’re proud to see LeedHR’s leadership point of view represented within one of Canada’s leading executive education institutions.
